On October 21, the First International Student Congress "Tourism of the Future – the Future of Tourism" will be held online. It will become a unique platform for professional dialogue between students and leading experts in the field of tourism in Russia and the world. The Congress will bring together over 10,000 participants from all over Russia and the CIS.
The Congress participants will discuss what the next generation of tourists will be like and how student tourism is developing, the prospects for space tourism, how the state policy in the field of tourism is being transformed, how the strategy for sustainable development of tourism and hospitality is being implemented. Such questions will be answered as how a student can start working and make money in tourism, what the digital transformation of the tourism industry is and how hospitality management technologies are developing, and much more. During the Congress, the winners of the competition for student proposals to the National Project "Tourism and Hospitality Industry" will be awarded. There will also be a meeting with the finalists of the All-Russian competition "Masters of Hospitality".
It is expected that the Congress will be attended by students from more than 100 universities and secondary specialized educational institutions of Russia and the CIS. Universities and students from Russia, Belarus, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, Grenada and Greece have already confirmed their participation. The speakers will be the leaders of the world and Russian travel industry, Ambassadors of the states, representatives of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Russia, Rostourism, Rosmolodyozh, the Russian Geographical Society, professional associations, leading higher and secondary specialized institutions of Russia, as well as students, undergraduates and graduate students.
