There is open photo exhibition of the Russian Geographical Society in Moscow, where the works of the winners and finalists of the II All-Russian photo contest of the Russian Geographical Society «The most beautiful country» are presented. The exhibition stands are decorating the famous boulevards of the capital in the open air.

There are presented the photos of the following nominations in Arbat: «The most beautiful country. Landscape», «The peoples of Russia», «Animals», «Yong photographer».
Chistoprudniy boulevard is decorated by the works of such nominations as: «Precious Russia», «Macro», «Black and white nature».
The pictures of the following series: «Birds», «The world is in our hands», «Industrial landscape» are placed in Gogolevskiy boulevard.
You may see the best photos of such rubrics as: «Stealing heritage» and «Underwater world» in Nikitskiy boulevard.
In spite of the frost, the citizens and the tourists are stopping with great pleasure in order to have a look at the photos.
«All the works are made by such talented authors, and are so beautiful , that it is very difficult to figure out just one favorite picture. They all are causing desire to travel around Russia, to study the geography of our country!» - Elena Nazarova, a visitor of the exhibition, notes.
«My son, having looked at the photos in nomination «Young photographer», decided to take part in the competition the next year. He likes very mush the work named «The host of the seas», - Ekaterina Kruglova is sharing her impressions.
«I like pictures of animals very much. Specially I have been impressed by «The wise fox» work. Now I'm in a hurry on business, but I am sure I will bring my family to the photo exhibition in order to see all the pictures attentively together», - Arthur Sarkisyan says.
«I have been dreaming to travel Russia all my life, but unfortunately, that is not always possible. But thank to these photos we are able to0 see our country», - Sergey Golikov said.
The All-Russian competition of the Russian Geographical Society «The most beautiful country» - is a scale media project, aimed at the Russian nature conservation and education of careful attitude to the environment through the art of photography. The competition was held in 2015 for the first time, and caused a wide public resonance. It has become annual since the year of 2016. In the rules of this creative competition there are no restrictions on age and place of residence of the participants. The main condition is that fact that the photos must be shot on the territory of Russia only. There took part 23 thousand Russian and foreign photographers who sent about 110 thousand works for the contest in 2016.
There are the President of the Russian Geographical Society Sergey Shoygu, the Russian photographer of wild nature Sergey Gorshkov, the head of the First Channel Konstantin Ernst, the actor and director Oleg Tabakov, the general director of the Museums of the Moscow Kremlin Elena Gagarina, the film director Timur Bekmambetov, the sculptor, artist, member of the Artists' Union of Russia Dashi Namdakov and other famous photographers and artists amongst the members of the Jury of the photo contest of 2016.
