New trends and concepts in the development of tourism, government, and business initiatives, educational lectures from leading industry experts will traditionally be held at the anchor tourism forum "Travel!". The Russian Geographical Society supports the event and invites everyone to visit the interactive platform to get inspired and plan your own journey.
The main topic of the forum this year will be international tourism – more than 20 countries have confirmed their participation in the event, including China, India, Thailand, Egypt, Algeria, Cuba, and Tunisia. The unique features of the Russian regions will be represented by the types of travel that are gaining popularity: car tours, rural and popular science tourism. The exhibition part will present goods and services for travelers – it will be possible to purchase tours at favorable rates.
The architecture of the business program is built around the main thematic areas: government initiatives and international cooperation in the field of tourism, investment, and marketing of territories, creation of tourist products from start to finish. Special attention will be paid to transport, services, and new technologies: the development of smart tourism infrastructure and personalization of travel, as well as training programs in the profession. The year 2024 has been declared the Year of the Family in Russia, and experts are also exploring the possibilities of tourism in ensuring positive social changes.
“The organization of the new forum ‘Travel!’ this year begins with a confident start. Having finally overcome all difficulties, we are talking about projects for the development of international and inbound tourism,” said Sergey Korlykhanov, First Deputy Executive Director of the Russian Geographical Society. “The Russian Geographical Society, based on its historical experience, is open to the development and support of tourism projects with access to the international level. As for domestic tourism, the forum ‘Travel!’ is once again becoming a key platform for demonstrating the tourism potential, new technologies, and cultural heritage of Russian regions. We are providing expert and informational support to this event for the fourth time, taking part in organizing the exhibition, the business program, and the work of the forum.”
The Russian tourist forum and festival "Travel!" will be held from June 12 to June 16 in Moscow, at VDNH, pavilion No. 55. The events of the forum will be integrated into the program of the international exhibition-forum "Russia". Admission is free for everyone. The guests will find a festival venue with a concert program, master classes, contests, quests and, of course, a raffle of valuable prizes from partners.
