May 26 at 2 p.m a lecture of the Russian geographical society dedicated to India will take place in the Worker and the Collective Farm Woman Pavilion at VDNKh. Andrey Danilov, a traveler, guide to Tibet, Nepal, India and Cambodia and a member of the Russian Geographical Society will speak about India.
India is an incredible country. When you visit it, it seems to you that you are at the most colorful festival of this planet, at a huge oriental bazaar and, at the same time, in a sacred place. The lecturer will share stories about his trips, speak about who and what the Indians worship, how the sacred cities of India were formed, and why the whole country travels to the Himalayas from May to October.
