It is a great pleasure for me on behalf of Nepal Geographical Society to extend my heartfelt congratulations to the Russian Geographical Society on its 175th anniversary on 18th August 2020. The 175th anniversary of the Russian Geographical Society is a time for reflecting on the past and looking ahead to the future.
Nepal Geographical Society established in 1962 and The Russian Geographical Society established in 1845 have been working for the development of formal collaboration in various scientific, educational and cultural endeavors and share information, experiences and knowledge with regards to research in geography and applied sciences. We hope our collaborative work will help to improve the quality of geographic education and research in the future.
We wish the bright and prosperous development of the Russian Geographical Society in the future.
